BM dresses

So we went last Saturday, not the 30th the 23rd, ordered them.  I received a call on Saturday that the design has been discontinued, BUT there is a similar, UPDATED version.  You'll just love it she says.  I told her I'd look at it and when I asked if it was already ordered, she wasn't sure.  She emailed a picture to me because it's so new it's not in the store yet.  I DO NOT like it.  I've emailed and called a hundred times in the last two days with no reply.  The phone goes straight to voicemail.  The similar gown is different.  Period.  If I can ever get anyone on the phone, I'm asking for a full refund.  Then I'll start shopping all over again--somewhere else.  Am I being a bridezilla?

Definitely not. How can the sales associate not even know if they were already ordered?! I agree- fight until you get a full refund. Good luck!

Edit: Can you go in person to the store? I'd do that if you can't get ahold of them by phone. Just keep harassing them!

I'm in Washington, the store is in Bridgeville.  I'd go if I knew they were open.  I'm thinking they may not be which is the only reason I think I haven't gone postal.  Appreciate your reply, Kim.  Ty.

Hmm, so you think they closed for good? There has to be a way to get your $ back...hopefully someone with more knowledge on legal issues will jump in.

That's insane-they can't just change your order without your permission.  I'd call or go check!

Yikes, that is bad.  You can't be held liable for dresses that aren't the ones you ordered, and I'm sure your receipt reflects that.

Is this a well-known wedding store?  Next time you call, leave a polite but firm message insisting that they call you back by time-and-date, or you will be contesting the charge on your credit card (is that how you/the BMs paid?).  Do they have a website?  The next step will be stopping by in person and/or sending a notarized letter.  Hopefully it will get figured out ASAP, good luck!

Babette's in Bridgeville by chance? We shopped there for my mom's dress and ended up finding it at another shop because their prices were nearly doube. (And I found a lot of pretty bad reviews of them online)
