Macy's Highlander...

I had a run in with him 2 days ago...

I was on the escalator going up to the 8th floor. I was almost to the top when the escalator jerked a little- my shoe then got stuck inbetween the steps!  I was pulling at it and it would not come out.  I thre my purse down at the top and pulled with my of my hands and right at the very top before the step dissapeared- myshoe unlodged.  It was seriously scary! Knock up 2 casualities for the highlander- my sock is blood stained and has a hole in it and my poor coach tennis shoe is ripped at the toe.

    Sheez, Sara, that is scarey. Glad you are ok despite a bloody sock and broken shoe.

    I need to know this Highlander story!

    OMG, did you report it?  Their escalator made you bleed, I hope you told someone...at the very least they should give you a gift card.  I hope you're okay.

    FI mentioned this when I told him about it. I reallyshould have, but I didn't. Have you ever been up to the 8th floor? There's nothing there- I practically fell when I got my shoe loose and noone was around. Just china staring at me and echoes of the higlander's laughter.
    seriously tho- it was pretty scary. I'm fine, and myshoes were pretty old anyway. But yeah- not going up to the 8th floor again

    Yikes, that's really scary!  I always thought "getting your shoe stuck in the escalator" was a fake story my mom just threatened me with to make me behave.  I'm glad you're ok!

    I'm honestly not sure if I've ever been up there or not, I usually don't go to the one downtown lol.  But I"d totally go if I got to see the ghost of a Hot Scot! Tongue out
    I remember watching a 20/20 episode with all these escalator horror stories years ago....some of them were just gruesome.
