Our wedding day went fabulously! Every single detail was perfect and I truly feel as though we owe the majority of the credit to our vendors. I would recommend each and every vendor that we used to future brides, happily. Looking back I would change NOTHING about our day.
Enjoy!
DJ: Pifemaster Productions( Slippery Rock, Pa)- http://www.pifemaster.com/
Bob was easily the most organized and amazing Disc Jockey I have ever seen. From the first phone conversation we had about potentially booking him to the day of festivities he was on the ball ALL of the time! Bob played music for both the ceremony (on the patio) and the reception. He kept us on time without making us feel stressed or rushed. He was in contact with the venue staff as well as the photographers all evening and they made everything come together flawlessly. He played exactly what we asked him to mixed into requests and kept the party going with a variety of music (per our request). He constantly made me feel at ease through the whole planning process as well as on wedding day. He kept things very fun and friendly while remaining professional. -- I am a music freak. I love music and I am very picky about songs. He is by far the BEST DJ a bride could hire!!!
Photographer: R.Frank Photography (Erie, Pa) - http://www.rfrankphotography.com/
I cannot say enough about this company. Rob Frank & Steve Puskar were our photographers and they were beyond fantastic. I typically do not love photos of myself so I was nervous about hiring a photographer and unsure if I would be pleased by anyone's photos. Rob and Steve very quickly changed my mind. They allowed us any freedom we liked and Rob would often ask me "Do you have something in mind" when I'd typically say 'no' he would then ask "Do you trust my judgment?". Trusting his judgment was the best thing I could have done. All of the photos he took are stunning and both photographers worked very well together. Having two photogs really made things seem to flow more smoothly too. The turnaround is great with them also. Before the reception was even over, there was a teaser album (about 60 photos) on Facebook.
Cake: Lincoln Bakery (Bellevue, Pa)- We ordered the cake through our venue so I can't speak for the staff at Lincoln Bakery, but I can speak for the cake. The design was exactly what we'd asked for. It was beautiful. I am not a big fan of cake, but it was delicious! We had some layers yellow and others chocolate and both were very tasty!
Hair & Makeup: Tre' Chic Hair Design (Saxonburg, Pa)- http://www.trechichairdesign.com/
The girls here were wonderful. Kristen worked with me to figure out what I wanted for hair. I went for two different trials and she was so helpful and really listened to what I was asking for. Danya did the makeup with the same helpfulness and expertise! We had a party of seven the morning of and we were out of the salon on time and everyone looked fabulous. These girls know what they're doing!
Venue: The Chadwick- http://www.chadwickevents.com
Where to begin. We utilized the Chadwick's Ballroom C for the reception and the Patio for our ceremony. Both areas were beautiful and needed very little added decorations. I could write a novel on The Chadwick but I will try to keep is short and sweet. Stacy & Jackie are the planners there and they are saints. They never made me feel silly for asking a question (even if it wasn't the first time I'd asked) and they returned calls in a timely manner. Cherith was our coordinator for the ceremony and was on hand for the rehearsal. She was on top of everything and kept everything moving smoothly. She was amazing as well. Lynda was our coordinator/head staff member for the reception. Lynda is a true Godsend. She was there when I needed anything, from a drink to scissors she was there. I joke that my husband (eee!) considered marrying her that day she was so wonderful! We knew once we'd booked The Chadwick that we were going to have a fabulous wedding, but this place and it's staff EXCEEDED our expectations more than words can express!
Florals: McCandless Floral (McCandless, Pa)- http://www.mccandlessfloralinc.com/
Janet at McCandless Floral was wonderful to work with. She understood what we were looking for and provided us with options within our budget. The floral arrangements she delivered the day of the wedding were spectacular. Her pricing was extremely reasonable and unlike some of her competition, she didn't make me feel poorly about our decision to have minimal flowers.
