LADIES!!!! If you were hiring a wedding planner for your big day, what would stand out to you? What are the do's and dont's that you would want out of your coordinator? What would you expect for your big day (yes nothing but the BEST) but, would you like a hands on coordinator that does everything WITH you not for you, or would you just like someone to schedule things for you and send you reminders? Please give me your thoughts!

i'm looking for my sister, I am not a vendor, I am a former bride she is just not one to plan all of her wedding events and is having a wedding of 3-400 guests which is way out of my league so I wanted to get some insight from other brides from their bigger weddings.

I'd look for someone who has done events that have a style I like. I'd look for someone who is very organized, has good local reviews, and who has extensive contacts in the area I'm having the wedding.
   I'd look on WeddingWire.com for planners in the area, I'd look at their reviews and their websites, and narrow my choices. I'd make in-person interviews with my top choices, and I'd ask for some recent client references.
