Wilton Cake Decorating Classes

A few weeks ago, I mentioned going to some of these classes and a few of you piped up mentioning you might be interested. 

At the Joann Fabrics on McKnight Road, they will have the classes on Saturdays from 9:30-11:30.  It's four classes on the following days:
Jan. 9th
Jan. 16th
Jan. 23rd
Jan. 30th

The classes are $27 but if you sign up on Saturday (tomorrow), they are only $22.50.  You can either sign up in person or call the store at 412-369-4010 ask talk to Debbie.

I'm really interested in going and it would be great if other people I knew would go!

Do you need anything in particular to take the class, I don't know what specifically I'm thinking of but you know like decorating tools or anything to take the class?

Not that she told me.  I'm probably going to go down tomorrow to see what its all about and I'll ask more questions then.  I know someone (Heather maybe?) took the class already.  Maybe she can give some insight?

If it's for all four classes I think I'm game, again depending on what the extras (if there are extras) cost.

As far as I understand it (and I've talked to the lady 3 times), it's $27 total.  That's what they advertise as well so it's gotta be true.  But like I said, I'm gonna pop down tomorrow so I'll find out for sure and let you guys know!

It is $27 total for all 4 classes and it's a blast!  I beleive the kit #1 is included with the cost of class (you can see it in the cake decorating section at JoAnn's).  I think we had to buy a few tips, but they are like a buck a piece, plus I used a half off coupon on them:-)
It's totally worth it to learn.  I make cakes for family parties and for my kids at school.  People are so impressed and it's super easy once you learn!  Have fun!
