Second Guess Your Dress?

Has anybody else bought that amazing dress.... only to find one you love even more later on? I bought my dress a couple months ago, and one that I'd tried on that same day keeps popping into mind. The more I look back, the more I seem to wish I had gotten that one instead.

Is it just me?

No it's not.  I went for a rush dress shopping day because the store was closing, and I bought a dress I liked because if I didn't, it would be gone forever.  I went dress shopping for other dresses after that.  I ended up keeping my first dress because I couldn't find what I was looking for exactly.  Apparently it is impossible to find a blue wedding dress in my area . . . so I'm making some adjustments to my dress to make it fit my vision.  Doesn't mean I don't second guess it all the time!

  • No, because once I bought my dress, I stopped looking.

  • I have lost 55 lbs since buying my dress. I need to lose another 4 inches to fit into it for November. I've never been able to actually try it on, I just was able to put on a sample that was too small. I'm not getting married until November this year but bought my dress in October 2012. My mom said to me the other day that she worries I will change my mind about my dress once I fit into it. Now I'm worried that I won't love it as much as I did. I have looked back at photos of some of the other dresses I tried on and wonder if they were a better choice. I can't afford to spend any more money on another dress so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I will still love it.
  • I think the problem is that you have to stop looking.
Also if you had one in mind forever, I would try to try those onbefore purchase. Just to get them out of your mind. You may love them or realize your "dream dress" is just wrong.

I tried one dress at a local store and everyone loved it I almost thought about purchasing it, but I remember I had other dresses I've been trying on. I found a store that had both designers. Unfortunately only one of my dream dresses were ther eand it was horrible on me. The other dress that was my favorite I couldn;t fin but I found an extremely similar one that I looked at before and I fell in love with it.
  • you guys are awesome
