So I bought a Doppler to listen to the baby

$30, just came. Was able to find the heartbeat pretty quickly and now I'm crying. 4 years ago when I was pregnant with DS you could rent them for like $45 a month but it was too expensive to justify. This is awesome.

  • Don't tell me this, I'm going to end up buying one now!

  • I rented one with Baby A for $25 per month. This time I didn't, and now I'm tempted to buy one. But with 8 weeks to go is it really worth it? Probably not.

With smartphones, you can get an app that turns the microphone into a "Doppler". With being farther along I'd go that route instead of buying.
