Wedding Woes

Moms, Dads, and Step-parents

Does anyone have any ideas fior keeping things smooth when you are inviting step parents that don't get along that well with your birth parents???

Re: Moms, Dads, and Step-parents

  • Don't sit them together.

And hope that cooler heads and you know, adulthood, will prevail and everyone will behave.

Aside from the bolded, there isn't really anything you do.

Have they created a scene in public before?
  • Provide time-out chairs. Preferably with their names painted on them. In glitter paint. In your wedding colors. No ribbons, though.

Those are awesome!  I'm all for time-out chairs!  In a corner, facing away from the fun.
