What's going on this weekend? 

Saturday I have party prep and tee ball.  Sunday is Max's baptism.  I'm sad my brother won't be here and now BIL may not be either.  I get it in my head, but it still makes me a little sad. 

 

Random: I just sent DH a text and used the term "the boys."  It still seems strange that I have boys.  Plural.

Tonight: Last minute shopping for tomorrow's pics...DH wants a new shirt or something.  I have a hair appt tonight too.

Tomorrow: Pedis with mom in the morning.  Scoot home and get everyone ready for pics and then meet up for pics and dinner.

Sunday:  Hopefully a nice breakfast from my boys and then cooking out at the IL's.  I likely have to work overnight Sunday night due to an office move in Asia (I'd spend my night talking to Australians and their sexy accents ).  And then I'll be off on Monday.

We are doing our Target run this afternoon and Son has a game tonight.

My parents are coming to Son's game tomorrow and then we're going out to eat.  Also - the coach asked the parents to get to the game 20 minutes early.  No one knows what he wants to talk about.  We all feel like we've been sent to the principal's office.

Sunday we're going to my grandmothers' houses for MD visits and then to MIL's for dinner.

We just got an email from the teeball coach saying he's going to work on throwing and explaining how to get people out.  "I'm not sure what to expect from this."  I expect they'll have fun, but not grasp a single concept.

Tonight, my mom and I are going to a warehouse sale of one of the very high end furniture stores.  90% off means it's maybe in our price range.  Packet pickup tonight, 17 mile bike ride in the am, with Bike N Brews downtown afterwards.  We're debating another long ride on Sunday or hot yoga.  I'm missing my yoga, so I'm pushing for that.

At some point, same chores as always.  We're also pulling out the camping gear to make sure we have everything we need for Memorial Day weekend.  I'm getting more excited. There are so many danged parties/beer gardens/bands playing on this ride that I'm actually getting worried about not making it the 30 miles.

Tonight I have to run to the mall to get my mom a gift card. Tomorrow, nephew has a soccer game in the morning and a make up game in the afternoon. We'll go to the morning game if DH wants to go and I'm going to the afternoon game with mom and then out to my brother's house for a MD celebration. DH works 2nd shift but has off Sunday. Sunday we'll probably do something with my mom so she's not alone on MD. Also need to squeeze in some laundry and other chores sometime in the next couple of days.

Going OOT this afternoon.  Heading to DH's high school musical - it's alumni night.  Should be fun.

I don't know what the plans are for the rest of the weekend because DH wants to play it by ear and I don't feel up to arguing.  So I had to pack for 2 days when we may just be coming home in the morning.   Ugh.  I had to pack for DD, too.   He'll probably throw a change of underwear and a toothbrush in a grocery sack and be done.  I wish I were kidding.

I haven't figured out what's going on for MD.  It's hard to make plans when you don't know what city you're going to be in and my mom acts redonkulous every mother's day.  :::grumble, grumble:::

Work today. I'm supposed to get my period tomorrow, which means I get to lay in bed stoned and watch movies. Sunday is church, then lunch, then going to see an Art-Deco era house decorated by a mid-cent-mod furniture store and stare at all the pretties I'll never have, and then maybe Gatsby. Or Iron Man. But definitely a movie.

Long run, H is putting in 3 windows for assyuncle.  Dinner with H's family which means....awkward conversation while I laugh at his dad's stupidity.  Is that bad?

Tonight, probably cleaning and getting crap out of the nursery so we can paint tomorrow.

Tomorrow- DH has his monthly game and will be gone all day and night.  Mom's coming over and I'm taking her out to lunch and she's going to help me paint.  She also gets to pin my BM dress that is way too big in the bosom (I don't know why all BM dresses are always too big in the boobs on someone with DDs).

Sunday- going over to the ILs and eating Chinese takeout from the bestest Chinese restaurant ever.  I'm hoping MIL doesn't hog all day so we can spend some time alone and maybe go see Gatsby.

I already know DH bought me a prenatal massage for Mother's Day.

Tomorrow is up in the air, seeing friends in the morning, evening, possible going out for a friends birthday, depends as we have multiple family in town for Grandma's memorial service today.

Sunday though, we have church in the AM, then up to the mountains for wine tasting. 12 people, all the mom's are here, mine of course, husband's, and my BIL's. Should be fun, epecially since all the moms in the group looooove wine. All the dads in the group should be prepared to be DD.
