Wedding Woes

Someone drank out of my mug

at work. That really bothers me b/c I think it's rude (bring your own damn mug, we're all required to) and gross. Everyone knows the boss that does it. It's my Thinking Atheist mug. The boss that probably did it, is super religious. I want to tell him that drinking out of my atheist mug will make him lose his faith. Or maybe that he needs to go confess to drinking out of my atheist mug, secretly supporting our agenda. B/c I'm feeling snarky today. :D

Re: Someone drank out of my mug

  • You should tell him atheism is contagious.
  • Eww!  That's just beyond gross.
  • I know. I think it's downright gross. On top of that, the firm actually does have it's own set of mugs, so use those! I know which boss it is, b/c my last mug had my name on it in like ten different languages. I found it in the sink and said, "Who the hell used my mug" during lunch. The boss was still in there and was like, Oh, I'm really sorry, I just grabbed on. Yeah....GRAB YOUR OWN ONE!! I don't really want to have to start keeping it at my desk, but I find this repulsive.

repulsive seems a little much. lipstick and food bits on the rim, and a crusty milk ring that has hardened at the bottom with crumbs is repulsive. the worst part is that it was left in the sink, and not rewashed and placed back where it came from.

but to me, this isn't a big deal. i rewash cups before i use them even if i just take them out of the cabinet. i'm a fan of earth-killer disposable cups.
