Wedding Woes

Ugh

Good news:  DD is "graduating" to pre-K.

Bad news:  I was perusing the parent orientation manual, and they repeatedly wrote "site words."  FAIL.  It's making me a little crazy even though I'm trying to ignore it.

Other news:  TK ate this post the first time I tried it.  :|

Re: Ugh

  • Also, the co-lead teacher's biography says she is the oldest of five children and has three sisters and two brothers.  I may not be a math whiz, but I did pass pre-K and those numbers don't work.

    Mood today:  picky, apparently

  • Um, I'd be picky about that, too. They're supposed to be educating your child. If they don't understand how to proofread for homophones or how to add, how are they doing that?

I had a similar experience, once with "cloths" instead of "clothes" (though that one was from the office administrator, not the teacher), and another instance from the teacher (that I can't find for some reason).

It's not like it'll be better/different anywhere else, you know?
