trying to decide how much of this really sucks

and how much I just don't like change.

I should be able to apply some professional objectivity, but it's kindof hard.

I actually don't think it sucks that badly, but there are some key things missing, like being able to navigate quickly back to the main board and being able to tell what I have/haven't read.

I'm also wondering if Chrome isn't rendering things the way it's supposed to, because is there REALLY supposed to be this much WHITE everywhere?

I take back the part about not being able to tell what I'd read. It wasn't showing up a few minutes ago.

I'm not sure who thought the cog wheel would be better than an "edit" link, either. That's an important feature you don't need to hide.

DG, in an earlier post, I commented that I think Chrome is screwing with some things. I can't post w/out hitting "show rich text" which is kind of annoying, but I'm not switching to IE just to see if it works and get paragraphs. Also, right under the white box is a small link that says "wedding woes" that gets you back quickly.

Just because the functionality is supported doesn't mean it's well-designed. The page header should get me back, too.

But I don't have too many complaints. Yet.

I'm more sad that I got a ninth anniversary badge. holy hell. And I've only been married for 7.5! and engaged for a little over 8. So yeah, I was one of those (though I think I only lurked then).
