I feel so clueless. I asked him to marry me on Saturday (woot!) and I've been actually looking at things for months. Now I'm in happy crazy planning mode and I think I know what style I want for the dress (tea length, vintage-inspired 50s kind of thing) and the veil (fascinator with birdcage). I've seen two main lengths for that, where they cover the eyes or where they go down over the chin. I much prefer the veils that just cover the eyes and will probably do that.
Down to the chin.
Shorter length.
My question is basically how the kiss works. When you wear a traditional veil over your face, I know the groom lifts it to reveal the bride's face and it flows back all pretty like, but this netting material is not flowy and with the one that just covers the eyes I suppose they can just kiss without messing with it, but what about the longer one? With the netting material and how it's wrapped around the head rather than a tulle veil that's loose over the face, I can't figure how that would be easy, and I'd be afraid of my fiance knocking it off my head because so many of them are just held on with a comb.
I know this is probably a strange question... lol
