What Do You Think of This Necklace for a Lace Dress?

My wedding is in 2 weeks, I'm not at all sure what type of jewelry to wear. I'm wearing a tea length, full skirt flared lace dress with sweetheart top ( kind of like this [link]) so I know that pearls would be lovely. However, a lot of the necklaces I see (single strand, multistrand, braided) look a bit older and more serious than the look I'm going for.

I found this one that is quite cute and whimsical - but is it too much for a lace dress?

If so, can you offer some suggestions on what kind of necklace I should go with?

Normally, I would forgo the necklace and wear long earrings, but FH has a 'thing' about earrings, haha, so I try to steer clear.

Now that I've put the photos side by side, I'm not really digging it either. Maybe I'll just stick with the single, floating pearl necklace?

I agree with PP. I think a single strand of classic pearls would go beautifully with the dress.
