Back from China! what's new?

Morning!  It looks like morning posts have mostly gone by the wayside but I wanted to say hi and see how everyone is!

I got back from China Sunday at midnight, and have been slowly putting my life back together and recovering from jetlag.  My conference in HK went really well, and China was an adventure - gorgeous sites, but the people were a little gross and constantly tried to rip us off.  We still had an amazing time though.  I also managed to get a lot of wedding things done there b/c everything is cheap - got myself pearls for the wedding, my girls pashminas, and the guys silk ties/pocketsquares/cufflinks. 

So how's life? Any big wedding checks?

    Welcome back!

    Glad to hear you are back and that your trip went well. That's awesome that you were able to get so much stuff there for the wedding. Gotta love those exchange rates somtimes. And yes, things have definitely been slow on the boards as some people have been MIA (you in China, GMC on a honeymoon, new jobs and busy working, etc).

    My only big wedding check that occurred when you were gone is I picked my bridesmaids dresses. Pretty excited about them. I'll find the link to the post I wrote about them later for you :-)

    Hello! Welcome back, MD!

    My best friend (who is Chinese) got tons of wedding items when she was in HK. That's great that you got good deals and had a great time. I hope you post pics on Facebook.

    On my end, nothing exciting. Married life is same as non-married wife except the wedding isn't hanging over my head, which is fine with me!

    It has definitely been quiet on here... I saw the post of your BM dresses, Sari. So cute!

    The only item I will not compromise on...my bouquet of all purple tulips wrapped in a swatch from my Mom's wedding dress.

    MD! Welcome back! Just saw that you posted some HK pics on FB.. i'll have to check them out soon!

    Lots of WR things happening for me.. RD invites made and out the door, got a meeting set with the church's music guy, picked our ceremony readings.. etc... my big project now is making the programs!  Things are really heating up!
