Good Saturday morning did you get your Powerball ticket?

How is every one this fine (rainy for me) Saturday morning?   

I have HUGE plans.  Yep, it's laundry day.  Not just the  only that it's, sheets, bathmats, sofa cushions laundry week also.  Also move the furniture so I can get the dust bunnies behind those day.   I can hardly contain my excitement.


So while I do that  I will be dreaming of winning the Powerball so I can dream of going back to our HM spot while my full-time housecleaning staff can do all that fun stuff.

What are your plans today?






What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    It rained overnight here, but now the sun is out. No powerball for me; I really should have, though!  I'm going to a furniture store today to hopefully settle on our new living room furniture!

    Good luck Addie.  We are in search of a new sofa ourselves.  It's so overwhelming.   Online reviews just makes it worse.  Once you read comments you don't want to every buy from anywhere.

    I know!  The one we are planning on has a couple good reviews and one bad one, but it's the bad one sticking in my head, you know?  Also, I just discovered they may not have it at the store's showroom. Lovely. We really like the look of it, though, so we will probably go ahead and order it even if I can't test it out with my butt. It's also really aggravating that many stores don't have their prices online. We started by browsing online to see what our options are and get an idea of what this room is gong to cost. So hopefully all of them will be similar in price.

    @AddieL73 - I just remind myself that they must sell thousands of products around the country.  I can' let 1 out of a total of 3 comments sway me too much.   Easier said than done.

    I think we might go look at houses today.  DH parents are separating and his Mom is coming out to stay with us in a few weeks.  She had already been looking at houses and found one she liked last time.  They've got new floor plans out, so we might go check them out early for her.  

    Other than that, I'm waiting for my club to post tryout results.  I want to know which team I"m cheering on next year!!

    Got my tickets! H and I talked last night about what silly thing we'd buy if we won. I told him I'd like a full suit of armor and a horse I could ride around nd play knight on. He didn't think I was serious. :p

    I didn't know about PB tonight, I will get tickets.

    I started this morning at the dump, cleaned half my house, ran out of paper towels, was making some stuff for craft fairs/etsy and those wreaths for my bridal party. Now I need new books to destroy so I'm going to my favorite barn sale then home depot and the grocery store.

    Later: Wine, deflated power ball dreams, and making another 100 stupid rosettes for my wreath
