Two weeks out and finishing all of those little details!
My catering bill has a gratuity already added - yes, it says gratuity. I am also paying a service fee per guest to the caterer. She is also doing the cake. Does this mean that I can skip tipping the caterer unless I feel so compelled by her level of service?
My photographer... She is already paid in full, but I was planning to tip her AFTER we get our photos. Acceptable?
DJ... Has been ridiculous to get into contact with and at this point I'm leaning towards he has to impress the crap out of me to get a tip. "Lost" paperwork that I've emailed, forgetting which songs for the processional (also emailed), etc. Plus there will be two DJs at our wedding, not receiving a vendor meal, but receiving a regular meal. I did not request two, it was just how my package was. If they impress me, what would be acceptable for each? $25 each seems cheap - but I also haven't been thrilled with service thus far.
Florist is delivering the flowers but doing no set up. Does she get tipped? *I saw a few posts ago where someone was tipping their florist, so I didn't know*
My venue can't take tips - it would look like a bribe and they are government affiliated. Seriously. I asked if I brought them my chair sashes if they tie them on for me (they are doing all set up, but didn't have sash colors that we wanted) and then they could have the sashes. I was willing to pay a fee to have them put on, but they told me no. For that exact reason.
Pastor/Officiant - is not charging us anything. We are getting him a gift - I ran it by his wife and she is thrilled.
Am I forgetting anyone?
