Has anyone worn a bolero with their dress? How was it? I worry about it shifting during the day.

I want to cover my arms and have been looking at lace boleros that button up the back to wear over my dress. My friend just sent me a photo of a beautiful lace one that goes around the back and arms, leaving the front of the dress exposed. My concern is the bolero will move or shift during the day, driving me crazy and making me want to take it off. Has anyone worn one and if so, how did you like it?

I made one to wear with my dress that was open in the front with elbow length sleeves. If it is properly fitted, it won't shift.

I'll be wearing one - like PP said, if it is well fitted, it really shouldn't shift.

Thanks! My friend said a seamstress may be able to add some things to attach it to the dress, small snaps maybe, that will help hold it in place.
