Groom & Groomsmen Suit Rentals? Does anyone know where?

So we have been looking for grey suit rentals for my fiance's groomsmen.  It's an outdoor summer wedding so we'd like to keep it casual.  We went to Men's Warehouse & Joseph A Bank - both have a grey tuxedo for rentals but is has a two toned lapel which my fiance was not a fan of.

I see lots of wedding pictures with groomsmen in matching suits that are not the ones they rent at Men WH or JAB.  Where do they get these?  Do the groomsmen have to buy a suit specifically for the wedding? (Depending on the suit it could be comparable to the tux rental..if not a lot more expensive and we don't want to ask that of people)... help!  Seeing as how MWH and JAB have buy one get one (or two) free sales, we could do this... but is there a better way?

ANY suggestions would be helpful...

thanks!

Most of the time, they just buy them.  It's often cheaper to buy a suit than it is to rent them.   You can hit Men's Warehouse when they are having their buy 1, get one half off or free sales, and the guys can likely buy a suit for about $150.00 (about the same price as a tux rental).

  • You can also look for independent mensware stores in your area.  You'll get better service than the big chains.
  • You can rent suits from any tuxedo rental place. Suits not tuxedos - the prices are similar to renting a tux...check out a locally owned store you may get a better deal and def better service than the big box...think davids bridal compared to local dress shops...
