Ordained minister question

My Fiance's grandfather is an ordained minister and we were wondering would he be able to marry us?

I'm not sure if there are laws that say you have to be ordained in the state you're marrying in or if once you are you can marry people anywhere.

Any help would be appreciated.

Call your county clerk's office and ask. Laws vary in different states.

Every state is different so you have to call to find out. Some allow it and others don't.

ordained as a minister is ordained, but each state and county have different requirements

the minister may need a license or be registered to marry in your state or county

agree w pp start with your county clerks office in the county you are getting married in...not where you live
