Champagne and Gold colors

I'm get married in a warehouse loft, so there is a lot of cream city exposed brick and small gold accents (it's a champagne lounge).  I want to go with champagne and gold colors.  BM in champagne dresses (maybe a gold sash or shoes), guys in black tuxs with champagne/gold accents.  I'm having a difficult time thinking of centerpieces though for round tables.  I'm not a big flower person, so thinking candles.  Originally I was debating wine bottles as vases with one or two flowers, but maybe that would overdo the champagne type theme.  Anyone have any pictures of this style wedding (not just randoms from Pinterest; I'd like to see a real wedding that used these colors!)?

My venue had lots of gold and champagne colors in their decor as well.  I used a few touches of gold, but I didn't want to overdo it so I also used lots of white, green and chocolate brown.  Here is a few pics...

  • No pictures (sorry) but I like the idea of using a green or pink or other bright color as a small pop of accent color to break up the neutrals a bit.

  • On the theme board there was a post asking about what to use with champagne as a color: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/help-with-wedding-colors-champage-theme#axzz2XrJp2D4c I'm not sure why you don't want inspiration board pics...this post has some lovely color combos.
  • Honestly, I think if you put too much champagne/golds into a champagne/gold room, it's going to muddle together and wash itself out.

  • Oh man!  What a fun problem!!  There is so much you can do with a neutral pallet!!

You could choose a bold jewel tone like a saturated sapphire blue to pop against it.
There is always the option of using a few pieces that look like wrought iron.
Do you have any organic materials being used?  A nice juxtaposition could be wooden boxes or branch decor.

Enjoy the process!  Best of everything to you :)
  • I agree that you need to add another color in as an accent.  You can go with  a dusty pink that will give you a very sophisticated classic look -or if you are going more modern, you can add any of the jewels tones in to give a much more bold look!  Hope this helps!
