Yacht Wedding - Photo Op Flop?

Hey girls! So here's the deal. I am considering having our wedding on a private yacht but I'm super concerned about not having enough photo opportunities if we do. I'm worried that all my photos will just consist of different poses in the same location (boat, dock, boat, dock, repeat). Do you think this should be a concern? If you have any suggestions, please offer them. If you are a photographer or are planning on also having your wedding on a yacht, please, please give me some advice! I would greatly appreciate it. :)

Thank you a mill!

Re: Yacht Wedding - Photo Op Flop?

  • I think it's fine.  Unless one drives around to multiple locations, most couples have one or two main "scenes".  And in the end, you're probably going to pick out your one or two favorite photos and frame them and the rest, after the first couple years, will probably only be looked at every once in a while in the album.

  • I am a photographer, I would say to couple that are concerned about this, to do a first look and them allow a hour to go to a location before the wedding on the land somewhere.  Then you still have the boat pictures and everyone is happy.
