Infinity Dresses for bridesmaids? Thoughts on where to buy???

I really would like for my bridesmaids to wear long infinity dresses. I think they would suit the variety of body types and shapes of all of my girls. My only concern is that it seems for them to be purchased at a reasonable price, they need to be ordered from an Etsy vendor. The things I am most worried about are the girls not being able to try on the dress first and the vendor being able to get the dresses on time (I have 7 bridesmaids). Has anyone had their bridesmaids wear the infinity dresses and if so, where did they purchase from? Thanks for any advice!

Eeh, have you ever tried on an infinity dress? They are HORRIBLE. They show every single lump and imperfection - literally, they hide nothing and are prone to slippage. I've never heard of anyone having a successful experience with them without some serious pinning and body shapers.

I think you're much better off picking a fabric and length (even designer and color if you'd like) from a normal dress designer and letting them pick from among those. David's Bridal might be a good place to start.

I agree 100% with @PDKH. You can't wear a bra with them, they don't stay tied like they're supposed to, and the fabric is terrible quality anyway. They don't actually suit any body type at all, and I say that as a person who can generally wear almost anything. I told my bridesmaids to wear knee-length blue dresses and they all looked great.

agreed...they seem cool in theory, but a friend of mine used them...the fabric is very thin and pills very easy. There is literally no way to wear a bra and with this fabric, every little...errr...bounce, will be seen.
