Oh yay! I've been watching for about 3 years now (well, whenever the tram crash happened) and am totally hooked! I heard the Karl storyline is supposed to drag on all summer.... :-( Can't wait till he gets the boot!

I've been a faithful watcher for almost my whole life... My mom is from England and while my mom hates British shows, my grandma loves them and I started watching with her when I was a kid.

 

I cannot wait for Karl to be written off the show. I heard Tina will also exit the show next year. I wish they would write off Tracy... I hate her!

Oh and what happened to David!?! He has gone loco again. Does he know Kylie and Nick slept together?? I missed something...

I have no idea what this is.  I dated a guy called Corrie once. It didn't work out.  I have nothing else to contribute but now I feel jealous becuase I feel as though I'm missing something special

@jennifervola, David found out that Kylie and Nick slept together right before they went on the mini-break and he's hell-bent on splitting up Nick and Leanne. I think he's trying to get Leanne and Peter back together or something. He's gone back to evil David, which is great because it makes it so much more interesting and he was quite boring as normal David! Oh and on that note apparently there's something coming down the pipe with Tracy and Rob. Would imagine they'll devise some sort of highly illegal and ill advised scheme.

I am actually ok with Tina leaving because this whole baby storyline has been doing my head in, I'm just glad it's over now cuz I can't stand Gary! A year ago I would've been well upset that she was leaving but I think it's time for greener pastures for Michelle Keegan. 

@LMC0322 you should get on board with the cobbles! I got an IP address scrambler just so I could watch it on ITV Player! (The channel in england it's on has a website you can stream it on).

I'm so happy I have a Team Corrie here. :-)

Corrie is what the Brits call Coronation Street. It's a super popular, very long running British soap opera.
It sorta reminds me of Law and Order in the sense that so many actors have made an appearance on it at some point. Including Ian McKellen lol.

Thank you for clearing that up for me! I must have missed 1 or 2 episodes! I wish they would write David off the show. His mouth bothers me...

I hope Michelle Keegan (Tina) has a career after corrie. I like her. I would like Gary and Izzy off the show. Can't stand them. Funny how when Gary and his mom Anna moved onto the street they were trash and yet now they are more refined (if that is the right word to use!).

How come they don't air corrie in the US? We get it everyday Monday-Friday and then they repeat all of the weeks episodes on Sunday mornings.

I'm not sure why it doesn't air in the US,  I would imagine American fans probably watch it on YouTube. There's a YouTube channel, "ArInsertion007" and they upload Corrie, East Enders and Emmerdale all on the same day it airs in the UK. I don't even watch the CBC episodes anymore because there were always spoilers on facebook as it's usually about 3 weeks behind in Canada. 

I try not to wish away the nasty characters because they make it interesting but I'm really hoping that they write Dev out because I can't see him going anywhere now that Sunita's dead. He's so boring and his voice makes my skin crawl! And Faye is a whole other story. But again, great little actress and she really plays the part well. David's mouth is way too small for his face. He reminds me of a little squirrel haha!

A squirrel is spot on ha ha ha!! Is it just me or was Dev a half decent actor before Sunita left (when she had the twins)? Then she came back on the show and all of a sudden he can't act worth s**t! He definitely needs to go... I worry that he is going to fall in love with Mary (gross). I hope he finds out Karl killed Sunita and that is how Karl gets written off the show, by going to jail forever and hopefully never returning to the show!

 

There needs to be another tram crash or something... Those were some great weeks of corrie!

Yeah I thought the rovers fire was going to be similar but it kind of fizzled out. I started watching after the twins were born. I started watching off and on when Kevin and Molly were having that affair and then got really into it just before the tram crash.

Apparently Karl being found out is coming down the pipes. I reckon it's got something to do with Craig because they did show him seeing Karl sneak around that night and now he is dead cagey around Karl, so I'm sure something will come out. 

I think Dev is definitely going to go for Mary, it certainly seems that way doesn't it! And looks like Faye's dad (name escapes me at the minute) is sniffing round Sally Webster... of all people!

When I saw this discussion, I thought it was about Corey Monteith. And now like you I feel like I'm missing out on something awesome! I must see if Netflix carries this!

@kiddodarling, you won't have much luck on Netflix, but you will definitely be able to go quite a way back on YouTube, on the channel I mentioned above (ArInsertion007), that's my go to when I miss an episode!

So for anyone who has been completely bored to tears by Tina and Tommy, turns out Chris Fountain (Tommy) has just gotten the sack for releasing a foul-mouthed YouTube rap video that included lyrics about rape. So Tina is already leaving and Tommy is probably gone within the next month. 

So there ya go.
