Table Linens

I met with my reception coordinator yesterday and they only have white or ivory linens to offer me right now, butI really want chocolate brown.  They could get them for but it would cost $20 or so a table.

So I started looking at other options like table runners or overlays etc and am now really confused.  I don't know if it would be better to buy something or try a rental company. What would you do or did you do?

I would try maybe chocolate napkins or a table runner.  You could make them yourself fairly easily.  Also, check the T2T boards as many brides sell their linens.  Good luck!

I would suggest buying them and you can sell them after. I bought satin chocolate brown overlays and runners from linentablecloth.com. There's free shipping on orders over $50 and they usually post coupon codes on their twitter page.

My venue is the same way. I am buying purple overlays. I've also seen a ton of chocolate colored linens for sale on T2T. You could also check out Wedding Bee. Then you can sell them afterward and make some money back. A really great way to add a pop of color is buy buying napkins!

We used chocolate brown and copper overlays on the bridal, cake, gift, wish tree, and escort card tables.
I bought the overlays from efavormart.com and I also bought some beaded and tissue table runners from a seller on eBay.

For the guest tables we just used the white tablecloths that the LeMont provided and I purchased copper chair sashes for around a $1.00 each and used them as table runners.

I have some chocolate brown ones that I used for my wedding. I was thinking about selling them or if you want to rent them - that might work too. I think I have 30 or so that overlay onto a 60 in round table.
