So my fiance and I really don't want people to give us gifts at our wedding. We would just love for them to be there and enjoy our special day with us.
Although I know it is in bad form to tell them whether or not they can bring a gift, but when someone does ask, we just tell them that we don't need anything and just want them to come and have a good time.
There have been a few people that have been a bit more persistent in trying to get us to tell them what to buy. So I was wondering, would it be cheesy or in bad form to tell them that it would be a nice gift if we made plans to come over for a home cooked meal and maybe a movie/game night, or something like that? Just something to spend more time together.
