Tropical Acres/Other Recs

Hello Ladies,

We have checked into the Tropical Acres catering option but I'm hesitant. They don't offer a tasting and the food that would be served at the wedding is not offered on the regular menu. Has any one used them for their wedding?

Also, we want a buffet or stations for under $1,500 for 50 people. Does any one have any good recommendations for caterers that you used that fit what I'm looking for?

    If you can skip the buffet and go with a sit down dinner, check out Bimini Boat Yard.  They do a choice of menu (3 options) and the food is amazing.  They have a very nice party room that is a pleasure to decorate.  50 people will give you dance space in that room as well. Ask for Patti, she takes care of their parties.

    I've been there for graduation parties and a friend baby shower, and the food was good.
