So frusterated....

I am so frusterated.  I decided since FI had band practice tonight I'd work on our invites.  I printed all the invites, all the RSVP cards, already had all of the hotel cards, and had 50 of the 70 directions cards (last thing to do) finished when my printer stopped working.  i was online with the tech support for a half hour and we couldn't figure anything out.  My printer is broken....I am sooo frusterated-the guy felt bad for me and is going to send me out a new printer, but I'm dying to have the invties all put together ready to go by MOnday.  I won't have the printer for a week.  Grrrr..........just so frusterated right now.

Aw! That sucks. If I can point out the bright side, at least you got that many printed out so you can get just about all of them ready to go and then when the printer gets here you can finish up ther rest. :)

    Damn technology!

UGH!  I feel for you.  It's so frustrating to be right on the brink of where you want to be only to have it yanked out from under you.  Elishanb is right, though, at least you can get most of them put together.  Maybe you can do the ones that have to go the farthest, and send them out first, then send the closer ones once you get the new printer.  Hang in there!

I totally feel your pain. My crapped out also in the middle of invite printing. Although iInstead of having the sense to call tech support, in a fit of quite a lot of anger, it's entirely possible that I punched it in frustration and cracked the glass on the copier part. Oops?

On the upside, you're getting a new printer (fo free!), and have a number of them done. SAHM had a good idea - mail the ones that are furthest away now, and the ones you can, and then mail the rest when you finish (obviously try to keep it in families or groups that speak to each other so you don't get the "Sallie got her invitation last week! What, do I not get one?" call/text/email/etc.).

Remember to breathe - you've still got some time, so you're not into the total crunch of these have to be done this week or they won't go out on time. Think of it as a slight break. I know when I did mine, it was rather exhausting and tedious (this leading to the printer-punching incident), but we were in a crunch so I didn't have time for a break.

Heather, I'm sorry to hear you were having a rough night! I agree with SAHM.  Don't stress too much!  On the bright side, you are on the ball with everything and you will receive a new printer!

Sorry this happened. It really sucks.

You do realize it is frustrated. Not frusterated.
