Hey everyone! This is my first time posting on here
Anyway I just got engaged 8/8/13! My FH and I have agreed that we want our wedding in a barn because we love the romantic feel to it once it's all decorated. The only problem is that we've searched high and low on Long Island and suprisingly there are very few barns here
We found some barns but none really wowed us. (a lot of the historical societies, martha clara-expensive!, hallockville, driftwood farms, vineyards etc etc). We found a lot of barns in other states that are absolutely amazing that are fully loaded with everything you need and pretty affordable and it just kind of depressed us that we can't find our dream venue on long island.
I was wondering if anyone knows of any barns close to long island (within 1.5-2 hr drive) or any private barns on long island that I may have overlooked. I appreciate any suggestions!
