    Morning,
I'm also on a snow day trying to get things done for the wedding!  I got my dress at Alfred Angelo in the North Hills.  They were so great to me there.  I know some people went to the one in MOnroeville and didn't like it as well.  A lot of ladies also went to MB Bride because of the large selection there.

I went to the AA in Monroeville and loved it.  My consultant was Lisa.

Since your in the South Hills, I know the White Orchid on 51 has been recommended, but I've never been there.

I got my gown at Carlisle's in the Strip District and had a great experience there.  I do not recommend them for alterations, however.

My BMs got their gowns at The White Orchid and it is such a great shop.  HTH!

I bought my gown off the rack at the Winner in Sharon, PA (a formalwear outlet store). Long drive, but my $1000+ dress was $233, including tax :)

I got mine at Ribbons in Beaver. It is a really cute store owned by mother and daughters. Their business began with these interesting necklaces (they have a picture in their place of one of their necklaces being worn by stars like Katherine Heigl). They really offered exceptional one-on-one service and their prices were very reasonable.  I would suggest checking it out.
