Forever Brilliant vs. Moissanite?

Don't really know where to put this ...

BF and I are looking at rings (!) and I'm wondering if anyone has Forever Brilliant moissanite. It's not a significant price increase, but there's so much conflicting information on the internet (it's a coating, it damages the stone, the color increase isn't noticeable, etc.) that I'm not sure what to believe. I know we're planning for a white gold setting, and the stone will definitely be moissanite - I'm just not sure whether to spring for the enhancement. Thanks in advance for any help.

We just purchased my ring from moissaniteco. I was in the same boat, but decided I wasn't worried about the enhancement. It will be here hopefully next week. I'll try to remember to post a photo of it for you! I'm so excited!

He proposed with a different ring with the intention of us picking out a whole new set for our wedding day. It ended up being a little more than we had planned on spending, so we got just the e ring for the wedding and here in the next week or two we're going to email moissaniteco to buy the band. I can't wait to get it

ETA- I went with a .65 carat (5mm) cushion cut center stone for it. I have little fingers, so I didn't want too big of a stone
