Wedding Program help!

Hey all,
I was wondering if my programs need to match my save the dates and invitations. Unfortunately the invitations and save the dates that I have fallen in love with don't have the option of having a matching program. Any advice?

    I disagree.

Programs can be useful in certain circumstances:
    1) When the ceremony is not "mainstream" and religious, ethnic, or cultural traditions will be employed that a significant percentage of the guests are not familiar with
    2) To indicate who is who in the wedding party (many people don't know everyone)
    3) To memorialize deceased relatives

Edited to add: They don't need to match.
  • They do not need to match, but some brides usually like things to be cohesive so I understand why you're asking.  You can design your own programs using the same (or similiar) font and colors that were used for our save the dates and invitations.

  • Don't give yourself unecessary headaches (seriously, they come all on their own when you're wedding planning! lol).  Just keep in the same level of formality, and in your wedding colors.  And most of all, make sure you like them!
