Bridesmaids: What can they carry down aisle instead of bouquet of flowers in Hawaii?

Hi,
The bridesmaids are going to wear a flower in their hair but also would like them to carry something unique that is cute and different from carrying a bouquet of flowers.  Some have suggested parasols for an outside wedding but are there other suggestions?  Appreciate the help!

    There are lots of great ideas. You could do a single long stem flower, a brooch bouquet, a shell bouquet, or even something a little different like a bright clutch (all links). Just remember you have to get all the stuff there! We haven't quite figured out what we are doing yet, but the shipping costs are what is making it more difficult to pick something less traditional.
