Average cost of a wedding band?

I'm looking for a wedding band, but i'm not even sure where to begin as far as putting it in the budget? How much did you spend? Can you recommend anyone?

It really depends on what you want. A plain gold band could for as little as $75 or $100. A more intricate band or one with stones will up the price accordingly.

Bands vary based on experience/if they have a reputation for weddings or not.  $2K and up, generally.

Also depends on the band. We went to a wedding with a well known singer from Pittsburgh sporting events - cost $6000.

We are paying 2k for our band- money well spent since they will be playing the ceremony and the reception and are stellar musicians.
