If money were no object...

...what are one or two things you would do differently about your wedding?  Married ladies, you can play too if you want :)

We would have a band the entire reception instead of just for cocktail hour.  I would have bought real diamond necklace/earrings instead of rhinestone ones.  I would have purchased the 600 Jimmy Choo's I wanted.

Well I would have to start with I would not have been so worried about the guest list. It was hard stopping at around 100 people. I feel like we could have invited 200 with out a problem.

After that maybe silly little things like accessories (kick azz shoes etc. ;p)

I would have an all-premium top shelf bar with a whole list of specialty cocktails.

I would also make our honeymoon two months long instead of two weeks :)

    1 - Change my venue.

2 - Send FIL's on an extended dream vacation right before the wedding and figure out a way for them to miss the flight back. They are driving me crazy!

Oh! I forgot about the HM!

If we had an unlimited budget we would be taking a long one directly after the wedding! We are taking a long weekend to somewhere near by (yet to be decided)

If we had tons of $ we would take a verrry long trip somewhere far far away directly afterward. :)

this is a tough one- I'm in love with my HM. I love our venue. The church is a family tradition. Um... maybe top shelf liquor (I stole that from you Jenfem! lol). And umm.... oh I know! I would buy all my BMs amazing dresses! And shoes to match!

One thing and one thing only...

We would have gone to Bora Bora for our HM. No question.

As for the actual wedding - I would not change a thing.

I'm late but want to play :)

    1. A venue downtown with a view of the city or on Mt. Washington.
    2. A super fabulous pair of shoes (instead of the $50 "reasonable" pair)
    3. Honeymoon in Bora Bora for 2 weeks.

Our dream honeymoon was Tahiti, so I would definitely upgrade to that.

I'm holding out hope that we might make it for a 10th anniversary or something :)

Ohh I want to play too - although I'm a bit late!

This is a bit hard b/c I absolutely LOVE everything we are doing as of now! I LOVE LOVE LOVE our venue, hoping to get the ceremony location that I love, FI and I are saving for a DREAM HM in Bora Bora and Moorea...

Hmmm let's see - I would definitely extend the HM...
I would buy my BM's dresses for them
Possibly get a different dress for me...

As of now, that's about it!! :)

    1. I'd change my reception hall to somewhere nicer. The firehall was nice, but I know there are better places, we just didn't have the budget for them.

    2. Instead of going on a cruise to the Bahamas, we would have gone to Barcelona and Mallorca. My goal is still to go back in the next 2 years...

I would have gotten married at Disney World and have paid to have had all of our friends and family down there.

Confession:  We originally planned to get married at DW, but didn't get our first two choices of venues.  It would have made for a much smaller wedding though.

    I wanna play!

    I would have:
    - held the wedding in June to avoid most weather issues.
    - had liquor at the bar, not just wine and beer.
    - had a photobooth.
    - hired a different caterer!! :P
    - had a 2 week honeymoon.
    - been able to invite about 50 more people.

Even though I would have changed some things if I had more $, I loooved my wedding and have the best memories.

did loveeeee my wedding though!   I would have also added another 50 ppl to the guest list (although since 17 stiffed us the day of, I guess we could have invited those other 25 ppl!)

This is fun!  If money was no object, I would invite about 30-40 more people, buy the awesome Manolo Blahnik shoes that Carrie wore in the SATC movie, have a premium bar, buy the dresses, shoes, hair and makeup for my bridal party, and HM to Australia and Tahiti!

Sorry, I kind of post and ran before! Yep, I studied abroad in Barcelona for almost 4 months in my junior year of college. It is such an amazing, beautiful city!
