How telling is it that Levi's homepage has a fit called "relaxed" available for men, but the loosest-fitting and hence most comfortable jeans available for women (and they're still pretty form-fitting) are called "boyfriend"?  And how much a statement on the times is it that very form-fitting jeans for men are called "slim" while for women they're called out and out "skinny"?

But if you want skinnies that stay skinny, don't be fat, because every single pair of jeans in my size is "stretch denim". You know what that is? It's pants that lose their shape in .25 seconds of wear, and fall off your butt all day and don't stay slim in the legs where you want them to. 

Really, if I want anything to not fall off my butt, I have to wear actual, like, trousers. Which look nice, but are not really helpful if your whole day is baking and cleaning, you know? I'm not Lois Griffin over here.

I've had some success with ON jeans  But I find I have to try on several styles, colors, and sizes to find the *right* fit.  So, it depends on how much time and patience I have.

I don't bother with ON anymore, b/c they'll have a fit I like and then just stop making it.

This is why I hate jeans shopping and don't even bother anymore.

have you looked at landsend.com? they come in fit 1, fit 2, and fit 3. 

they also make something called "sport knit" pants which is basically a legit pajamajean in cotton, corduroy and knit.
