Asking Wedding Party

So I have decided who I would like as my MOH. 

I thought I knew who I wanted as my BMs. I even bought them personalized cards from Etsy asking them. But now I am doubting my decision. They are friends that I have had for a while (up to 10 years). I think I am doubting my decision because I have a feeling when I do ask them, I might hurt a few friends' feelings that I don't ask.

My question: Is it okay to ask my MOH first and wait a while until I am sure about the BMs to ask them? Or should I wait and ask them all around the same time?

Ask them when you feel comfortable asking them. Just don't ask them all at the same time in a group. Make sure that you ask each of them separately.

I don't see why not. I'm on mobile so I can't see your wedding date, but I generally think it's wise to wait asking the bridal party until six months before the wedding if you're concerned about hurt feelings.

Oh yeah, I plan to take them each to lunch individually.

Then you have some time to work with.  You can ask your MOH whenever you like, it does not have to be at the same time that you ask the other people.  However, if you are worried about hurt feelings, think about whether you would want your other friends (potential bridesmaids) knowing that you have selected your MOH.  They might assume that you have already selected your full bridal party and they didn't make the cut.  That would be silly, but some people think that way, so it's just something to consider.
