How's the weekend shaping up for everyone?

Tonight we have a pumpkin carving party and Saturday we have a bonfire.  I also want to try to get to Toys R Us.  They have buy one get one 50%on Fisher Price and I have a $10 Fisher Price coupon.  I'm hoping to score some Christmas gifts.  Sunday we have a few projects to try to get to and Boo at the Zoo sometime.

WTR to the I'm tire thread.  I'm feeling much better today.  I actually got some sleep last night which helped.  I also talked to MIL about schedules and feel much better about how things went down.  She's coming for TorT next week.  She offered to pass out candy so we can go out as a family so I'm excited

Tonight we'll head to Target and out to eat.

Tomorrow is Boo at the Zoo.  It's supposed to be in the 50s, thank goodness.  It will take us 1.5 - 2 hours and will probably be our last trip to the zoo for the year, unless there's some crazy warm front in the near future.

Nothing is planned for Sunday right now.  I'm sure we'll think of something to do.

It is the weekend...Finally.

Tonight: BIL and SIL are in town.  We're doing dinner at my IL's.
Tomorrow:  A HS friend invited me to her baby shower.  I still don't know if I'm going to go.  We were also invited to a party tomorrow night.

DH wants to make a trip down to the mid-south-central part of the state to see the fall colors.  We have to clean house and get ready for the next week/weekend, as we're going OOT and SIL and my mom are splitting kid-duties for us while we're gone.  They're going to be staying at our house so as not to disrupt the kids routines as much. DH is going OOT on a work-trip Mon-Tue.  And the kiddo needs black pants for choir.  Plusalso, I need to go get DefConn's cape for his Halloween costume from my mom. 

I need an extra day or two added on to my weekend.  Gah.

Have some chores to handle, including kitty baths. Still recovering from a cold. Trying to get all errands run tonight- there's a big state university in my city, and this is their homecoming weekend. I don't want to have to deal with their insanity tomorrow.

FSMIL wants to start a tradition of making Christmas ornaments for everyone this year and exchange ornaments. I painted all the ones I have last night, but need to add some details. Also need to pick up a few more to do for FI- he's not really a crafty guy, and will let me handle it.

FINALLY have cool weather, so I'm airing out the house and burning fall/harvesty candles all weekend.

Probably the usual boring stuff, running, groceries, breakfast, crap tv.  Cleaning.  Ugh cleaning.

Tonight or tomorrow I need to go get a gift for our nephew. 

Tomorrow we'll be unpacking more

Sunday we'll be at our nephew's first birthday. It might be a little rough for us.

Tonight the opera.  Tomorrow, DH has a volunteer day at the big farmer's market with me taking pictures, then game day, then another food event thing where he has to sit at the table and I get to wander around eating at the farmers market.  Sunday we tour one of the local caves and might be going to another game day, just b/c I want to see some people at that one I haven't seen in years.  

Sometime in there I need to do the regular household chores, write the content for our website and write my statement for the office I'm running for in our social group.

I'm thinking of sending DK to our winemakers meeting tonight - I want to get a Red Zin kit, and you get a discount during the meetings. (Also, I have a hockey game, and I went to 2 happy hours last night, while he stayed at home. It's his turn to get a night out.)

Saturday, we're going to a local farm/pumpkin patch during the day, and DK and I will have a date in the evening. We're thinking of going to an excellent steakhouse (http://www.tasteoftexas.com/) - you can't make reservations (it's first come first served) but they have free drinks/snacks and TVs in their massive waiting area, so it's not too bad to hang out for an hour or so before dinner. It's one of those places where you can go into their "butcher shop" and choose your own steak. Their salad bar (included with dinner) is also fantastic. 

Sunday is a birthday party for the son of a woman in my mom group. It's at a bounce house/playground type place, so I'm sure Wolverine will love it. I know DK will be working on the guest bathroom remodel - my parents will be coming into town in a week, and ILs in 2 weeks, so we need to get it finished up. All he has left is cutting/painting/installing the baseboards, and touchups. I bought a new shower curtain and bath mat, so I'll probably get some new towels and minor decorations and be done with it.

Today DS is at my parents house. I'm taking my 1/2 day and leaving at noon to do some fun errands. I'm finally going to go to the fabric store and I may go back to Ikea. We're having dinner with them and then I'm sure it will be late. Saturday is our neighborhood Halloween party, and Sunday DS has a birthday party for one of the kids at preschool. Oh, and to keep it interesting I've started having contractions. Not the Braxton-Hicks ones, but real painful all over contractions. It's a delight.

Today I am off, the Bean is at daycare, and I need to clean the house. And finally get our halloween/fall decorations up.

Tomorrow we will hit up the pumpkin patch in the morning, then finishing up costumes. Bean will be a monster, we are taking the boxes from her new car seats and making them buildings for us to wear. The family group costumes are Bob's Burgers, I am wearing my Linda get up under the building until Bean is in bed. HUsband will be Bob.

Sunday is church and relaxing until we go out for dinner and Burlesque for sister's birthday.

This weekend, we're hoping to buy a Civic to replace my husband's piece of shit Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight. Such excitement.

Today, ENT appt for A, then a swim lesson. I'll be working and doing laundry. Then a girl's night for my friend's birthday.

Tomorrow is yoga in the AM and then something with the kids before a hair appt. I haven't had a cut since May. Then of course the tidying up, laundry, etc.

Sunday is our anniversary, so dinner at The Melting Pot.  I need to get my H his gift at some point.

Tonight it's dinner with friends in the city.  We're staying over at a hotel and will come home tomorrow.  Then it's major laundry and house cleaning. 

Sunday is church and I hope to get out and do some shopping.  I need a new winter coat.

H works Saturday and Sunday night.
