How many bakeries did you meet with before making a decision?  Also, how many did you meet with in 1 day?

My FI and I are considering a few different bakeries, and we both work a lot...and at different times so setting down time to meet with vendors is very tricky.  We have a day set aside to meet with vendors and are trying to figure out how many we would want to meet with in 1 day.  I'm thinking the maximum would probably be 2.

    It sort of depends on where each bakery is located.  We visited with four of them (on different days.)

    We had 3 scheduled but stopped after our 2nd one.  I cannot imagine doing more than one in a day--it is soooo much cake, I couldn't even finish it at either tasting.  If you want to taste all the flavors they offer, I would not recommend more than 2 in one day.

    I would narrow it down to 3 or 4 at most--you don't want to overwhelm yourself.

    We only went to one.  We knew they were the best in the area so it was just a matter of pricing.  I don't think I would have wanted to do more than one in a day - we tried SO much cake at our tasting!
