Can't decide on a date!

Ok so SO have narrowed the date down to sometime in November, but I'm still a bit iffy about it since 1 my birthday is the 8th, 2 the 22nd is Thanksgiving, and 3 the 28th is our 6 year anniversary. Not only that but Christmas is the next month. But we really want it for next November. I was thinking sometime the weekend of the 17th because anyone who has kids their kids will be out of school that weekend since Thanksgiving is the following week, but do you think that is cutting it close?

This is very nerve wracking lol.

Tips? Suggestions? Also when we do decide on a date how soon do you think we should contact a venue? I think I found one that I really love already!

    I love the idea of doing your anniversary! I would def book a venue soon if your planning on Nov 2012. It's still pretty far out, but sometimes places book up early. We booked 2 years in advance, which isn't necessary, but I was in love with the venue and wanted a specific date. Good luck!

    I would go with anniversary [:

    Are you getting married in 2012 or 2013?? I know November 2012 is still over 5 months away, but vendors do book up fast and you don't want to stress yourself out by having to rush!

    I had this same problem! We finally ended up choosing our 5 year anniversary on Nov 24th 2012! I knows its two days after thanksgiving but the date means alot to me, and it's two days after so I don't think it will be a prob and if it is and some don't show up, all well! I know will be there :D

    I am getting married this November on the 19th (which is the same Saturday as the 17th in 2012).  Even though it's only 5 days after FI's birthday, we wanted to use the free vacation days over Thanksgiving to take our honeymoon.  We are also using it as an excuse to have turkey at the reception dinner, haha.
