  • LOVE THAT YOU ARE NOT USING A RECEPTION CARD... I think they are a waste of $$$.
    The wording is great.
    Congrats =)
  • I think if you're going to go with "together with their parents" then that's the wording to use to get rid of three sets of couples PLUS the bride and groom.  I'd rather see you go with:

Together with their parents  (put them first)

    Kimberly A

    and

    Quentin S

Request the honour of your presence (assuming this is not a nondenominational chapel)
as they are united in marriage

    Saturday the fifth of September
    Two thousand ten

At half after two o'clock (it is not necessary to indicate AM or PM but if you must, it's "in the afternoon" and not PM)

    Kemper Chapel
    Kenosha, Wisconsin

    Reception at half after five
    Radisson Hotel
    9999 Ninety Ninth Street
    Happiness Place, Wisconsin

I'd recommend a reception card because you have a long gap and really should indicate what you're hosting in that gap.  It's also not necessary to indicate when cocktails end and when dinner begins.  Most people understand that the cocktail hour is just that - an hour.

Beyond that, your font appears to me as Times New Roman which I wouldn't recommend.

  • I'm not sure about your fonts. The sizing is a little odd but that may just be the board's formatting. The extream italics are at odds with the straight up serif font. can you upload a picture of the actual fonts? These fonts are also really similar in that they are both a serif print- when you use two fonts make them very different, for example, a print and a script. Or use the same font throughout. just remember that when you're in doubt about something-simplfy.

You should definately change the 2:30pm to at half past two in the afternoon or two thirty in the afternoon (although the propor format is the half past format) I also dont think its necessary to list everyone's names if you are writing "together with their parents" but the 3rd poster here had a great way to list that. If you are going to include everyone's names you can leave out the together with their parents and just list their names first, then request the honor of your presence (which in formatted invitations is spelled honour but im not sure why) and then your names.

Proper format is to state half AFTER and NOT PAST.

Past is used for funerals.  After is for invitations.
