rant: professor

Remember the post I started about my professor who couldn't be bothered to email me back right away? Please read her response.... her spelling/grammar/punctuation is killing me. Are you not teaching in a Masters level program???? AND, she spelled my friggin' name wrong.

"Hi ,
I rechecked scores.  You received 155 (including 2 correct answers that you e-mailed).  You then received an additional 5 for the question I through out."

Please let me learn from her mistakes!!

Old post:
[QUOTE]I'll start. ... I love it when a professor of a online course writes a shi!ty midterm question. When I emailed said teacher about my argument for the question, with details and research as to why all of the answers are incorrect, I get an email stating "I'm sorry, but I am with limited email access until next week, but I will look into then. I will also double check your grade to make sure you got credit for the that question which you answered correctly."  REALLY... why couldn't you just take care of while you had enough internet access to email me?? I call Shenanigans! Your turn! :)

I love when professors hold you to a higher standard than they hold themselves. Hypocriticizers.

Nursey, can you schedule an office hours visit with her? That way, you can bring your stuff, she can pull out your test, and you can go over things to make sure everything jives.

That is (such and odd) placement of (parenthesis). She (didn't) need to put them (there).
It's also an incredibly informal email.

At least she gave you points for the question you complained about though, right?

I can kind of relate. I've sent one of my professors and very long and thought-out email and he responded with about five words, no capital letters, no punctuation. He has his PhD!

    Marley....
No I can't. It's a hybrid online program, and I'm not scheduled to be on campus next until the end of April for the final presentation. This is just one of those where I have to grind my teeth and stick it out.
