Exactly my thought! Not sure it will go over with the FH though. I am going to slowly push the idea. Maybe by the wedding day he will warm up to the idea.

First name middle name and hubby's last name. I have always wanted to give my son or daughter my last name as their first name.

FirstName MaidenName Hubby' s LastName

I have 2 middle names so it would just be a mouth full... An i have two older bros so there is no need to hypinate

My signature will change to FirstName MiddleNameInitial MaidenNameInitial HubbyLastName.

Socially: FirstName MiddleName HubbyLastName

This is similar to what I am doing:
Legal name: FirstName MiddleName LastName HubbyLast Name
Everyday: FirstName LastName HubbyLastName.

Keeping my last name because we only have one male in our family that will carry on the family name if he ever has kids, and if he has a boy. It also makes it easier for colleagues/co-workers to identify me.

[QUOTE]Good question and this is something that I really need to bring up with my FH. We have talked about it in general conversation but not in earnest. I am pretty sure that he wants me to take on his last name only but I have always had the mindset to hyphenate my maiden name with his last name because, honestly, I have so much stuff I would need to change over. It would really be a pain to deal with if I don't hyphenate BUT if my FH really wants me to use his last name only, then I will do that.

So I asked my FH if he would consider me hyphenating my name. He said "nope". I am to take his last name and that is the end of that. LOL! I have to be honest I love that he wants me to take his name only. :)
