s/o Beer!

Re: s/o Beer!

  • I call it warm piss so I guess we're even. And I try not to scoff at people who say Molson Canadian is their favourite beer. I wouldn't drink it if someone forced it down my throat. *barf*

  • I will drink water before I drink Bud. Sorry! In fact, at a wedding where the only free beer was Bud Light, I bought bottles of Sam Adams and Blue Moon.

My dad's girlfriend drinks Coors. He judges her for it, but still buys it for her.

  • Oh, Canadian beers are big where I'm from. Especially Labatt's (my dad's favorite go-to beer). I will say that Molson is better than Bud, but that's not saying much.

  • I lie. I do on occasion drink MGD. But technically it's not American, though it is still brewed there.

  • Ooooo, I love beer, but HATE crappy beer. Corona is probably the crappiest beer I will drink. My typical go-to is either Widmer Hefeweizen or Newcastle. If I'm feeling fancy I'll get a St. Bernardus Abt 12 or Helleweizen. Anyone from the southern California area should check out the Back Abbey in Claremont. They have a beer list that is to die for, and the beer is fabulous there.

  • I drink Heineken or Tuborg for the most part.  If I'm out somewhere and only have North American choices, I'll go for a bottle of Keith's.

We have a Labatt brewery here in town so it is the popular choice of bars around here.  I can't stand to drink the stuff.

  • Mery, I think you and I would have a very good time drinking beer together.

I can't remember who said there was a bar with canned beers where they live (sorry, it's back a page), but we have one of those here, too.  It's called 'The Cooler'.  They have a ridiculous amount of beers!  I love going there and getting 2-3 different ones every time.  Canned beer is totally cool these days- seems like all the microbreweries are coming out with beer in cans.
