Need help finding a reasonably priced wedding band in central MA.

My fiancé's family is insisting on having a band play at our reception. We are having quite a hard time finding one that isn't the total amount of what we have budgeted for our wedding. Anyone out there have anyone they can recommend? We are looking to hopefully spend between $1500 & $2000.
Any suggestions would help. I already tried talking them into a dj with no luck.

    Check out bands in schools like Berkley.  The bands there will be cheaper but likely just as good as any other band.

    I have no idea the cost, but Kahootz is really good, I've seem them do events before

    Are you paying for the music? In that case I would say it is your choice if you want to use a DJ. Remember it's your wedding. : I've been to weddings with only a DJ and as long as you get a good one they are just as fun and usually can match the music to what your guest seem to be enjoying the most.
