Private Residence for Beach Ceremony/Reception in Traverse City or NW MI

We just got engaged in Traverse City and would love to find a house to rent on Lake Michigan (or Glen Lake) for an outdoor ceremony/reception. We live in Indiana but fell in love with the area and would like to do a small destination wedding in that NW Michigan area.

I've checked vrbo and home away to not much avail. I didn't know if anyone may have some more suggestions. Any help would be appreciated!

    Check out the homestead in glen arbor. Its a resort right on the water with a hotel, condos, & houses to rent out. We went there for our mini-moon & are going back with my husband's family next summer. We also went to a wedding there a couple years ago & it was very nice.

    We went to a wedding at this property in Northport (20 miles north of TC).  Ceremony was held on the beach and reception under a tent in the back yard.  Absolutely gorgeous!

    Orchestrated Grace Event Planning out of Traverse City has a couple of venues right on the water.
