Hi ladies. How are you? I just watched Glee. It was AMAZING. The only thing I don't like about that show is the amount of money that I spend after it downloading songs.

dnb - thank you for sending me cookies! Now you have to tell me what you want me to make you. I can make anything really but specialize in hats and scarves.

The best part of my day today was shipping off my SS present. What about you ladies?

My day wasn't too bad, but my body is tired as hell. My back has been hurting for a week - I think I hurt it trying to hold down a kid at work last week. So I'm happy for a 4 day weekend after work tomorrow

I am working 3rd shift this week (only this week, Thank goodness), so I'm here all night - but I randomly leave for 20-30 minutes as stuff comes up. But since I sleep all day, I get a lot of reading of the day stuff done overnight

So do you work exclusively at night? Does your H do the same thing? What does that do to your sleep cycle?

I had to do a few 2 week stretches of night shift when I was in training. That sucked. I cannot sleep well during the day.

I just took a new position at the company I work for about a month ago - part of it is covering for the 3rd shift supervisor when he goes on vacation (like this week). I just completed my training period on day shift. I'm working 3rd this week, and my primary shift will be 2nd (3:30 - midnight) starting Monday.

Since I only had to do it for 3 nights (Sunday night, Monday night, and tonight) I've managed to get like 2 3 hour naps each day (morning when I get home, and evening before I go to work) so I'm doing okay, sleep-wise.

I took a promotion to be a shop floor supervisor. I was in planning and purchasing. I need to develop my leadership skills, and have direct hourly supervision experience in order to move up any further, so it's a stepping stone position. Our shop run 3 shifts.

GAAA andy you said something and now I have to too. I shipped off my SS present on Monday and I've been stalking the tracking site - it's going to be delivered today! I'm so insanely excited about this. Haha!
