When should you begin to register for your wedding?

    The longer the time between registry & wedding, the higher the odds something will be discontinued. So, if you register like 6 months before, you're probably ok, but farther back than that and you'll definitely have to keep an eye on it.

    I registered last month for my April wedding, partly because someone asked about it in order to choose something off the list as a Christmas gift for me.  Definitely register before bridal shower and wedding invitations are mailed.
    Whoever said it was supposed to be happily ever after is a big fat liar.
