Indoor Garden Reception

Hi all. I am attempting to plan an indoor garden themed wedding for December 2011 for 150 people and am having trouble finding a reception venue. Ideally I would like to find somewhere with huge windows that face a forrest or garden so that I can bring the outdoors inside despite the cold. I have been searching specifically for Atriums and Greenhouses with no luck. Have any of you seen somewhere like this?

You should check out the Carriage house at Magnolia Plantation. And check out some of the other plantations that might have some other options for you. Atriums and greenhouses are going to be hard to come by in the Charleston area though for that many people.

Magnolia Garden actually rents out its conservatory and includes tables and chairs for I believe 75. The capacity is lower than 150. 75 to 100 I believe.

You could also try Middleton Place. Or try renting exotic plants from a florist or buying them wholesale and decorating your space. with them.
