[QUOTE]What do you love most about yourself (physically & otherwise)? Physically - My eyes, I guess. I like that each eye is a different color. Also, I have awesome boobs, when they're in a bra. Otherwise - <strong>My strength. I've really found it the last few weeks. At first, I thought I was weak for giving up, but I've realized I'm strong for not taking the BS anymore, and realizing I deserve better. When you leave this world, what will you be remembered for? God, I can only hope good things. What is your significant other's favorite thing about you? Don't know, don't have one</strong>.

<div>You are seriously one of the strongest people I know. I really admire that about you. I think that alone is something that you will be remembered for.</div><div>
</div><div>And, in lieu of the S/O question, I will answer that you're smart, funny as shiit, have a good head on your shoulders (and a pretty one, too!), and...oh, yeah. You're hawt ;-)</div><div>
    </div><div>
</div><div>And my answers:</div><div>What do you love most about yourself (physically & otherwise)? </div><div><strong>I'm gonna jump on the boob train here. I also think I have pretty nice eyes, and lately I've kind of started liking my nose, which I've always hated. Otherwise, I would say my loyalty, and my newfound ability to eliminate toxic people from my life. I've always been a little bit of a doormat, so to speak, so I'm pretty proud that I can let go now when I could never do it before.</strong></div><div><strong>
</strong></div><div>When you leave this world, what will you be remembered for? </div><div><strong>I hope that my artwork will be remembered and appreciated, and also that I am remembered as being a caring person who would do literally anything for those that I love.</strong></div><div><strong>
</strong></div><div>What is your significant other's favorite thing about you?</div><div><strong>I'm pretty confident that boobs would be up there, but also my sense of humor, my big heart, and the way that we connect. We can finish each others' sentences sometimes :-)</strong></div>

Can anyone tell me how to be a good MOH on my cousin's wedding day? And what I should wear to the RD? I've never done this before, and I'm leaving tomorrow morning, and I am getting nervous that I'm going to forget to pack something.

  • Mand- I just did the MOH thing, its different...
Wear a cute dress for rehearsal
  • Don't forget about decorating their car if no one else is doing it! Straighten her dress nicely

I would say just being there for her is the most important thing. Help calm her nerves if she needs it and make sure everybody gets something to eat. If she has any last minute things offer to help with those.

When I was MOH for my BFF I wore a cute cocktail dress in her colors and heels. It's certainly not mandatory to wear the colors of the wedding but I happened to find a cute dress on sale and it matched. I would just ask her what she is wearing. Some people have dressier rehearsals, and some people are fine with jeans.

That and if you can get access to their hotel room if they are staying in one it's fun to decorate that too.

Thanks Rox and Kayla.  Those are all good tips. Her wedding color is red, and I do have two red dresses-- but one is super casual, and the other is a little too... hot (boobs!).  She's wearing a kinda-sorta fancy cocktail dress, so maybe just a LBD for me would work?

Will definitely decorate her car and/or hotel room! Thanks :)

  • ahh thanks MandK for asking this! I am the MOH for my best friend's wedding and have never been one and I really didn't know what all I should be doing. I can't really elaborate more though because she is a huge SB lurker and I don't want her to see this lol

  • So, random, completely unrelated thought. There was a story on the news tonight about how crime has gone up in my town. They profiled three different crimes, and in the whole year of 2010, the TOTAL of all three crimes was around 27. This year, SINCE APRIL, the total of those same three crimes is at almost 100.

At the moment, there's a group of people standing out in front of my house talking really loudly. They've been there for about 15-20 minutes. I know I'm completely neurotic, but it's freaking me the eff out.

    End of threadjack.

I always wonder if I'll ever run into anyone I know on TK.  It hasn't happened yet.  Either they don't know about it, or don't care.

  • I did an LBD and thought it was perfect.
  • con that would freak me out as well! I like in a condo complex and one night I heard some woman scream bloody murder at 3am and I scrambled to find my glasses and creep out the window..then some guy started yelling "jane get back here now!!!" and i was so freaked out. i probably should've called the cops now that I think about it :-/

  • And Mand, I second everyone else's suggestions :-)

Also maybe pick up a bottle of champagne for when you're getting ready with her (if you're doing that). Not all venues provide champagne for that. I know mine didn't. Or get a bottle of champagne and some orange juice! Mmmmmm...mimosas....

  • That would bother me too, Con. I think 1 am on a weeknight is a little late to be congregating in front of someone's house. Even if it's completely "innocent" it would still be annoying.

  • What do you love most about yourself (physically & otherwise)?
Physically- I love my eyes, they're pretty kickass.  and like most of the PP's, I have a killer rack ;p
Otherwise- I have a great sense of humor! And I am really good at letting things go.

When you leave this world, what will you be remembered for?
I hope I'll be remembered for how amazing my children are (Ex. "Man... she must have done something right!") and for how apparent the love in our family was... and that I helped someone.

What is your significant other's favorite thing about you?
Text answer from FI: "I would say your smile and kindness"  I would have guessed my boobs and my laugh lol

I always wonder that too. It's actually really creepy because she reads a good number of the threads on here and never posted once. i wonder how many other people do that. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-undecided.gif" border="0" alt="Undecided" title="Undecided" />

  • Thanks guys. I was afraid I was overreacting a little. I mean, if they were going to break into the house or something, they wouldn't be making all that noise, right? And I'm on a corner. So...visible from 2 sides, plus the neighbor behind us. It wouldn't make much sense.

That is a fantastic idea. My mom picked up prosecco for us and it was a great way to start the day. Probably the only day in my life that I started drinking at like noon, but hey it's a once in a lifetime thing anyway, haha.

Yeah! I am doing that, actually, and bagels and cream cheese for sustenance.  There are 6 bridesmaids and the bride, and the moms.  Will one bottle of champagne, one carton of OJ and a dozen bagels suffice?  Google says that makes 12-16 mimosas.  So enough for some of the people to have two, but not everyone... good?

I mean, nobody needs to get wasted at 11 AM at a hair salon.
